Madagascar and Comoros

Madagascar and Comoros suffer from extremely high levels of poverty, and sustainable co-evolution between society and ecosystems is going to be crucial. IUCN identified Madagascar and Comoros islands are major biodiversity hotspots on Earth. However, due to the on-going lost of forest cover, biodiversity is dramatically declining in the Regions.

Local situation

Dr Jonah Ratsimbazafy, project local coordinator, shares with us his thoughs about his country, Madagascar. They are very useful to understand the context in which part of the project will delevop.
